Drop those scripts!

The working continues, and so does the fun!
The scripts are slowly leaving the actors' hands, and their characters are coming more into view. Soon we'll be starting full runs of the play.
Until then, we continue to work the minute details of the individual scenes.
The actors and crew continue to have a brilliant time, and creativity levels are skyrocketing.
The fun is unabated!

A treacherous path to perfection!

We are finally through the rough blocking stage, and now must begin on the treacherous path of working the scenes. This is the time where we delve into the nit-picky parts of each scene
and practice them until we're blue in the face.
It's a tough job, but everyone is doing wonderfully at it and having fun, to boot.

Rehearsals continuing for Egad! The Woman In White.

Walter announces his departure
We're now into the third week of rehearsals, and the creativity is flowing.
We start rehearsals with a bit of improvisation to prepare ourselves for the heckling we hope our audience will throw at us. It is an interactive show, after all. All around a great time is being had on, and off stage.

We hope you're as excited for this show as we are!

We're very excited to be beginning rehearsals for 'Egad! The Woman in White.'

We're just in the preliminary stages of planning at this point, but there are already a lot of fun ideas planned for our July performance dates.

July 10th and 11th and July 17th and 18th, 2015.

We're all 'ready, VILLAIN, and able' to make this a great show!

A BIG "Mardi-Gras-Size" Thank You!

The Creekside Players would like to express their gratitude to Routes Grill for inviting us to participate in a Murder Mystery Evening again. These nights keep getting better and better! We had a great time imagining ourselves at Mardi Gras and hope that all of the guests did too - what a great crowd!

If you haven't been to Routes Grill in Lake Country, check them out here:

As the Creekside Players organizer of the event, I would personally like to thank the actors who volunteered their time to act as potential murderers.

In alphabetical order: Jonathan Bepple (Cayenne Pepper), Bruno Carturan (Matthew 'Gator' Crovitz), Lindsay Farrugia (Alexis Du Pre), Patty Garrett (Melissa Du Pre), Dennis Jasper (Inspector Cluso, no relation), Karen Rauser (Elise St. Gresch), Kayla Rauser (Band member), Bonny Taylor (Stephanie Peek), Michelle Tillack (Bourbon Du Pre), and Sierra (Band Member).

An extra-special thank you to Cody Kreklau, for being one of my (Connika Gothika's) ghoulish fans!

With Gratitude, Christine Schreyer (aka Connika Gothika)
